After the global pandemic shut down so many opportunities for human connection, Trinity Property Consultants was thrilled to once again put on an incredible Earth Day Event. Employees spent April 21st, 2022, picking up trash, spending time in nature, eating good food, and connecting with one another face-to-face, a privilege in these trying times.

The team started at 9:00 A.M., thankful it was warm, sunny, and lacked the windstorms that had plagued the week prior. Even though it was a volunteer day, almost all employees showed up for the 1.6 mile hike.

“WOOHOO! First piece of the day,” Cheyenne says before celebrating her tootsie-role wrapper with a victory dance.

The large group quickly breaks off into smaller ones, splitting up onto different trails to cover more ground.

Tommy, Jean, and Jonah continue to pick up trash, tired from their 1.6 mile hike at Horse-tooth Reservoir in the April heat. April 21st. 2022.

1 80° hour later…

Tommy: *Picking up rocks with the trash grabber*

Jean: “I’m over it.”

Jonah found an area covered in broken bottles with potentially harmful glass on a trail that people run on every day. 8 members of the Trinity team worked for almost 30 minutes to pick up every last piece!

The team was exhausted and dehydrated, when they finished their hike, yet they were still having a blast getting to spend time with their friends.

The team entertained themselves by playing corn-hole before getting sat in the restaurant’s outdoor area.

This was some of the employees’ first time meeting one another in person, so everyone was chatting up a storm.

Cheyenne and Tommy, like the rest of the employees, were hungry and tired from the combination of the hike and the heat. They anxiously awaited ordering their food and hoped it would come out soon.

So many emotions when wrapping up Trinity Earth Day 2022.

Sandra is celebrating her corn-hole victory.

Jean is wondering why they agreed to play in the first place.

Cheyenne, exhausted, is wondering when they’re going home, and the waitress is wondering the same thing.
